Pricing & fees

Last updated 29 September 2026

Every price on MiniParty is shown in full before you book, in Indian rupees. You pay a ₹5 booking fee online to confirm, on top of your order, and the full order value directly to the host at the venue. Nothing is added afterwards. This page explains what makes up an order and who is paid what.

What a party slot costs

Hosts set their own prices. Across the venues listed today, a slot for 4–30 guests typically runs from about ₹500 to ₹15,000 depending on the city, the space and the hours you book. Every listing shows its hourly price, its minimum booking length and the price of each add-on before you commit to anything.

Browse live venues and prices — the catalogue is the price list, and it is always current.

What makes up an order

  • The slot — the host's hourly price multiplied by the hours you book.
  • Weekend surcharge — some venues charge a percentage more on weekends. It is shown on the listing and in the breakdown, never as a surprise.
  • Add-ons — decoration packages, cakes, photography and similar extras, each priced individually and chosen by you.

Together these are the total order value: the venue's price for your party. You pay all of it to the host at the venue; our booking fee is charged separately, on top of it, and never taken out of it.

How you pay it

  • Booking fee — a flat ₹5, whatever the order value, paid online to MiniParty when you book, on top of the order value. It confirms the booking, and it is our only fee: it pays for the platform, the payment processing and the support desk.
  • Pay the host at the venue — the full order value, directly to the host on the day, in cash or UPI. It never passes through us, and the host receives all of it.
  • Tax — no GST is charged at present, because the business is not yet GST-registered. When that changes, the tax will be shown as its own line in the breakdown.
  • Coupon discounts, if you have one, come off the booking fee. Discounts are funded by us, so they never change what you pay the host.

A worked example

A 2-hour slot at ₹600 per hour, with balloon decoration and a cake:

Slot — 2 hours × ₹600
₹1,200
Balloon decoration
₹800
Cake
₹700
Total order value
₹2,700
Booking fee, on top
₹5
You pay online now, to MiniParty
₹5
You pay the host at the venue
₹2,700
Total you pay
₹2,705

₹5 online to confirm, and the full ₹2,700 to the host at the venue — ₹2,705 in all. The host receives the full ₹2,700 — MiniParty doesn't take a cut from it. The same breakdown appears on the booking screen before you pay, and again on your booking afterwards.

When you are charged

The booking fee is charged once, online, at the time of booking, and it holds the slot while the host reviews your request. If the host declines or does not respond within 24 hours, the booking is cancelled and the whole booking fee is refunded automatically. If you cancel before the host confirms, it comes back minus the payment gateway's charge of about 2.36% — Razorpay keeps that on every payment and doesn't return it on a refund. In the example above, you would get back about ₹5 of the ₹5 booking fee.

The full order value is paid to the host at the venue, on the day. Anything else you buy from the host on the day is settled directly with them too, and does not appear here.

If you cancel

Cancel before the host confirms and you get the booking fee back, minus the payment gateway's charge of about 2.36%. Once the host has confirmed, the booking fee is not refundable — but you don't owe the rest of the order value, because it is only ever paid to the host. If the venue took an advance, the host returns it under the rules on the cancellation page.

The full rules, including refund timelines and the rules for bookings paid in full online before the booking fee was introduced, are on the cancellation & refund policy page.

What hosts are paid

The host collects the full order value from you at the venue — every rupee of their price. Our ₹5 booking fee is paid by you, on top, and it is our only fee: MiniParty doesn't take a cut from the host, and a coupon discount never reduces what the host collects.
