Payment & cancellation
₹5 booking fee online, the full price at the venue
Pay a ₹5 booking fee online to MiniParty to confirm your booking, on top of the order. Then pay the full order value directly to the host at the venue on the day, in cash or UPI — the host receives all of it; MiniParty doesn't take a cut.
This host asks for an advance of ₹50, part of the order value: they'll call you to collect it by phone or UPI before confirming, and the rest is paid at the venue.
If the host declines or doesn't reply within 24 hours, your whole booking fee comes back automatically. If you cancel while your request is still waiting for the host, it comes back minus the payment gateway's charge of about 2.36%, which Razorpay keeps on every payment and doesn't return.
Once the host confirms, the booking fee is non-refundable. If you cancel after that, you don't owe the rest of the order value.
An advance is paid to the host directly, not to MiniParty. The host must return all of it within 3 days if they decline or don't confirm in time, if the host or MiniParty cancels the booking, or if you cancel before the host confirms. If you cancel after the host confirms, this venue's cancellation policy applies to the advance: all of it back up to 72 hours before the start, half up to 24 hours before, none after. You never owe the rest of the order value on a cancelled booking. If a host doesn't return an advance they owe, report it from your booking.
